Refund and Cancellation Policy

Prakruti Vardhan Foundation is grateful for every donation. This policy explains when a donation can be refunded and how monthly donations can be cancelled.

1. Donations Are Generally Non-Refundable

Donations are voluntary contributions used for charitable work, so once a donation is successfully made, it is generally not refunded. Please check the amount, cause and your details carefully before completing the payment.

2. When We Will Refund

We will refund a donation in the following cases:

• An amount was deducted more than once for the same donation because of a technical error
• A wrong amount was entered by mistake (for example, ₹50,000 instead of ₹5,000)
• The payment was made fraudulently or without the account holder's authorisation, supported by suitable proof
• The donation was received from a foreign source, which we are not permitted to accept

3. How to Request a Refund

Email prakrutivardhanfou@gmail.com within 7 days of the donation, with your name, mobile number, donation date, amount, Razorpay Payment ID or receipt number, and the reason for the refund. Our team will review the request and reply within 7 working days.

4. Refund Process and Timeline

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method (card, UPI or bank account) through Razorpay. The amount usually reaches your account within 5 to 7 working days after approval, depending on your bank. The receipt issued for a refunded donation is cancelled, and no tax benefit can be claimed for it.

5. Failed Transactions

If money is deducted from your account but the payment shows as failed, it is normally reversed by your bank or Razorpay within 5 to 7 working days. If not, please write to us with the transaction details and we will help.

6. Cancelling a Monthly Donation

You can cancel a monthly donation at any time by emailing or calling us from your registered email or mobile number, or through the link in your Razorpay subscription email. Cancellation stops all future payments. Payments already made before cancellation are not refunded.
