About the Foundation
Our Story
Born in Tharad, Built for the Villages
Prakruti Vardhan Foundation is a non-profit organisation from Tharad, Banaskantha, founded on a simple belief: the wellbeing of people and the wellbeing of nature cannot be separated. In the villages of north Gujarat, a dry summer means less water for families, less fodder for animals and a harder year for farmers, while a good monsoon, healthy soil and a few more trees can change all of that. Our mission is to bring organised, honest and caring action to these everyday needs.
The founders, who come from this region, turned their concern into a registered organisation. On 23 September 2026, the Foundation was incorporated as a Section 8 non-profit company under the Companies Act, 2013, and soon after registered on the NGO Darpan portal of NITI Aayog and enrolled on the e-Anudaan portal of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

REGISTRATIONS AND TRANSPARENCY
Every Rupee Accounted For
The Foundation's accounts are audited every year by a Chartered Accountant and its annual filings are made with the Registrar of Companies. Every donation gets a receipt, and every rupee spent on a project is recorded against that project.
Donors and partners can ask for project expense details and audited accounts at any time.
